Quick note from the field

Quantifying progress.

I work with a LOT of scientists and engineers, and I’m asked all the time “how will we measure progress?”

Sometimes, you’ve got to challenge your assumptions about which ruler to use. 📏

Often, a ‘voice problem’ is actually a symptom of a deeper misalignment. It’s definitely helpful to work on vocal technique, but if you want to truly speak with impact, you’ve got to understand who you are, where you are, who you want to be, and where you want to be.

I love this memory that popped up.

How are you measuring your own progress? Are you acknowledging all the shifts you’ve made along the journey? Are you able to acknowledge how the journey itself has evolved along the way?
